RTF to TXT conversion
Hey dude if you're like me and you like your droid phone and you use it for pretty much everything then I guess you use it also for reading books, but guess what when it comes to rtf files you got yourself a problem because there aren't many ebook readers in the market that let you read rtf files most of them allows you to read pdfs, epub or other ebook formats but not rtf.
I have like gigs of books and I would love to be able to read on my droid, so what I've seen is that all of the readers in the market let you read text files, old plain text files so I cooked a small interface for transforming those rtf files in text files in order to make them droid friendly, many of you will say that text files are not nicely formatted and one can't see rich text or tables or images, well I agree with and this post is not for you and btw I use Moon+ Reader to read these, works so well and loads the pretty fast.
So what exactly does my small utility, it takes a folder where you keep your rtf files and a folder where you want to save the text files and after pressing the GO button it will do the job, granted you are on windows 7 because I didn't test on other SO, sorry but I didn't have time. Here is how it should look like
I attach here the .net exe and the c# sources, if you want more add yourself, the code is very simple, is based on the rich text control in windows forms and it's ability to save as plain unicode text.

Cam astea sunt caracateristicile principale ale acestui mobil, as mai adauga suport pentru conectivitate bluetooth si port microSD(2.0). Pentru retelele GSM se pare ca nu va fi disponibil, dar HTC Desire are cam aceleasi specificatii si deja e disponibil la noi, diferenta intre ele ar fi camera 8mp pt Incredible doar 5 pentru Desire, si memoria 8GB pentru primul, doar 512MB pentru Desire. La ora asta parerea mea e ca astea sunt cele mai solide mobile de pe piata ca facilitati si prezentare, vorbesc despre clasa de mobile touchscreen fara tastatura.
Dupa cum am zis Desire si Incredible vor rula Android 2.1, ultima versiune de sistem de operare pentru mobile de la Google. Acesta desi a intrat pe piata destul de tarziu, doar de vreo 2 ani, a urcat vertiginos in preferintele consumatorilor, fiind un sistem de operare solid, nu blocheaza telefonul foarte des, soft-ul de telefon e unul dintre cele mai bune daca nu cel mai bun de pe piata si aici compar cu Symbian, iPhone si Windows Mobile, deasemenea avem un Android Market, unde putem gasi mii de aplicatii realizate pentru el, as adauga ca zilele trecute a aparut Skylight pentru Android, varianta beta, Skylight e un browser care suporta si Flash 
, da Flash se pare ca Flash functioneaza decent pe mobile indiferent de ce ne spune Apple, insa nu va faceti sperante ca avand Flash pe telefon veti putea juca toate jocurile de pe internet, din pacate multe din acestea sunt atat de prost facute incat merg foarte greu si pe un PC nu mai vorbesc de un telefon.
Concluzia: Telefoanele Android au intrat pe piata de ceva vreme si eu unu le recomand cu caldura entuziastilor(urmatorul meu telefon cu siguranta va fi un Android, poate chiar un HTC, mai vedem), functioneaza bine, sunt solide, au specificatii top care permit vizionarea de filme ( nu chiar HD dar oricum la calitate buna) , poti naviga pe web sau folosi un IM in conditii decente, poti citi o carte daca ai ochi buni si nu te deranjeaza ecranele lucioase sau poti jucat un joc cand te plictisesti si nu ai un pc la indemna.
De ce sa nu cumpar un iPad

Concluzia: De ce nu?...pentru ca nu imi trebuie.
